Futaba 2.4gh System

I recently bought the Futaba 2.4 gh system as I had run out of model memories on my 6EXA and was starting to get confused. At £150 it is amazing value. The idea was I could use it at meetings and not worry about frequency clashes. The receiver is very small so it is suitable for quite small models.I have a Saito 40fs,so I built a “vintage” model around it.It flies well and the motor runs very smoothly especially at low throttle.Once in the air it flies on 1/4 throttle or less.It is 80″ span and 12″ chord so its’s a large model but I build fairly light. The radio system is an anti-climax.It works and that is it.I have had no problems.
